A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter presents its twenty-fourth annual Makin’ Strides for Strays event. Brings the family and the pooch for a 2.5-mile walk. There will be music, vendors, friendly dog competitions, face painting, temporary tattoos, doughnuts, coffee, hot dogs and more. Registration is free and begins at 8:30 a.m. near the Naperville Central High School Stadium. Walk begins at 9:30 a.m. Walkers who raise $100 or more in pledges will receive a walk-a-thon T-shirt.
