Home Bar
The natural stone in the bar and media room reflects the family’s love of and visits to the western part of the country. Colors in the terracotta shadowstone slate by Realstone are both classic and timeless, but reflect the spirit of mountains.

Although it looks like hardwood, Porcelanosa Montreal vintage porcelain tiles were installed by remodeler Drury Design over a radiant heated floor, which reduces the cost of heating the space and maintains consistent temperatures in the lower level.

Grabill maple cabinets with a Sedona stain hang above quartzite Dune Vein counters.

Commercial barstools by ISA International feature leather backs and seats in a natural color.

Wine Cooler
Custom Grabill cabinets at the base of the stairs include a 166-bottle Sub-Zero refrigerator, plus flanking storage areas for games, toys and blankets–all the cozy, must-have items for entertaining.

Media Room
Family-friendly everything was a key concept in the viewing area, which accommodates groups for movie or sports nights. Ginny Blasko Design Studio worked with the family to commission custom furniture from Chicago’s A. Rudin, including a sectional made with Garrett leather. A smart home system controls lighting and mechanicals in the entire lower level.
