Come on out to The Conservation Foundation’s McDonald Farm and enjoy live folk music , hayrides, activities for the kids, pony rides (nominal fee), a petting zoo, and wildlife exhibits. Take a farm tour and learn about native landscaping and conservation efforts. Visitors can join one of the Outdoor Survival workshops, and hear a few tales from a travelling storyteller. There’ll be food available for purchase, or bring a picnic to enjoy on the peaceful 60-acre farm. Free admission and parking. www.theconservationfoundation.org
