Cornerstone Day Picnic

The free Cornerstone Day Picnic will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 20, at Jefferson Plaza, located on the lawn east of Brainard Street at Jefferson Avenue. The event will feature sample cuisine provided by Chartwells—the College’s food service provider—and several Naperville restaurants. Entertainment will be provided by talented North Central College student performers. In the event of rain, the picnic will be held in the Wentz Concert Hall lobby at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave.

Cornerstone Day commemorates the College’s 1870 move to Naperville and the laying of the cornerstone for Old Main.
