Is your daughter going to college this fall? Are you both wondering what to expect? Join us with your daughter on Saturday, March 22nd for advice from actual current college students on how to handle college challenges. Our Collegiate panel from area colleges and universities such as U. if IL and Purdue, will kick off the morning with a discussion about their experiences and challenges of college life. Ample time will be left to respond to your questions. Breakout workshops follow, for your daughter focusing on such topics as : How do I make the best choices? How do I manage my time? How do I negociate with difficult roommate? How can I best manage my money? How do I communicate with my professors? Parental workshops will include: How do I prepare my daughter for success? How do I survive the first year? Refreshments will be served, and drawings for door prizes will wrap up the morning. Cost is only $5 per person.
