Bernie Sanders, the current two-time United States Senator from Vermont, and former Democratic Presidential candidate, will be featured at a speaking engagement sponsored by Anderson’s Bookshop, North Central College and Macmillan Publishing Company. Sander’s Presidential campaign launched a huge progressive movement during recent months focused on the shrinking middle class in American culture and the growing income and wealth gap among citizens across the nation. That message led to enormous crowds and to Sanders’ significant position in the national political arena. Younger voters seemed especially tuned to his views, and college campuses greatly boosted Sanders’ standing in the polls. And now, the story behind that impressive showing is told in Sander’s new book, Our Revolution, which will be released to the public on November 15.
