Chili Cook-Off

On Saturday, November 5th from 1-5 pm the Downtown Wheaton Association (DWA) will host the 8th Annual Chili Cook-Off in Downtown Wheaton. A record number 15 restaurants will be participating this year, including Bricks Wood Fired Pizza, Choun’s, Dry City Brew Works & Steamboat BBQ, El Zarape, Emmett’s Brewing Co., Front Street Cantina, GIA MIA Pizza Bar, Gino’s East, Ivy, Muldoon’s, OMG! Café, River City Roasters, Sogno, Suzette’s Creperie and Wok n’ Fire. With the purchase of a ticket, attendees are invited to try as much chili as they like and then vote on their favorite for the People’s Choice Awards. At the conclusion of the event at 5 pm, all event attendees are invited to Emmett’s Brewing Co., the 2015 People’s Choice 1st Place winner, for the announcement of the 2016 award winners. Both adult and child tickets are available for the event at www.downtownwheaton.com or at 108 E. Wesley Street, Wheaton IL. Cost of tickets are $20/adult and $10/child.
