Chicago Sinfonietta has presented a concert to celebrate the birth and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. since its inception. This season friendship is the connecting theme in three fascinating works by a trio of African American composers: Florence Price, Joel Thompson, and Jeff Scott.  The online concert closes with a Chicago Sinfonietta tradition: We Shall Overcome, performed in unison from homes across the country in a spirit of hope and resilience. $45.
