The nonprofit empowerHER brings hope and optimism to cities across the country to honor or remember loved ones through its Luminaria event. On this day, the Luminaria displays will remind girls grieving the loss of their mothers that they are not alone in their grief. Purchase a bag online to be personalized and displayed at Lake Ellyn Park. Proceeds fund year-round events and mentorship. $25/bag.
