Celebrating a milestone 30 years at the MAC in 2016, New Philharmonic welcomes back guest vocalist Emily Birsan, described by the Chicago Tribune as having incomparable “fineness of expression…” Birsan rings in the New Year with her “Je Veux Vivre” from Romeo and Juliet and Puccini’s “Quando m’en vo’” from La Boheme. Traditional Viennese selections include The Blue Danube Waltz, Radetzsky March, polkas, opera arias and scores from iconic cinema.
