An inspiration to many, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s strong will, persistence, and influential role in women’s rights led her to become an icon to many Americans. Historian Jim Gibbons will discuss how Ginsberg’s life and experiences were the catalyst for her fight for gender equality and women’s rights, led her to the Supreme Court, and how she became known as the queen of dissent. This Brown Bag Lecture will be held virtually via Zoom; those who register will be provided a link. Free.
