The Silent Samaritans Breakfast is a gathering of community members who support the mission of SamaraCare, to provide counseling for women in need due to difficult circumstances—such as abuse, divorce and job loss, etc.—regardless of their ability to pay. The keynote speaker is Dr. Katherine DeWitt, Associate Professor and the Clinical Coordinator at South University in Columbia, South Carolina. Dr. DeWitt will speak about the adverse impacts and victimization of social media on adolescents and vulnerable populations.
