The City of Aurora honors the dedication of local military service men and women who have served our country at its annual parade and ceremony. The event steps off at the corner of Benton and Broadway at ends at the G.A.R. Memorial Hall, where the “Serving Our County and Community” ceremony will take place. A military rifle salute by veteran organizations will occur at 11 a.m., the exact time the armistice was signed that ended World War I.
