Elementary School Theatre Camp (July 14-18):
An introductory acting summer camp for incoming 2nd-5th grade students. During the week, students learn basic skills of acting, improvisation, movement, and dance. The camp culminates in a performance on the final day. Participation guarantees a non-speaking part in the NVHS Fall Children’s Play production, a witty twist on the classic fairy tale. Show title to be announced.
Middle School Theatre Camp (July 14-18):
A performance camp for incoming 6th through 8th grade students. Students will work in various aspects of theatre craft including acting, improvisation, comedy, movement, tech, and costuming. Participants will work collaboratively with high school actors to put on a performance of a collection of vignettes on Friday, July 18th at Neuqua Valley High School in the Forum Room at the Birkett Freshman Center.
High School Theatre Camp (July 28-31):
This summer high school students can partake in a “24-Hour Play” where we will log a total of 24 hours in order to create a show completely from scratch. Students will learn essential theatre skills while building up to a one-time performance on Thursday, July 31st at 6pm. *No prior experience needed to enroll.
