From Office Complex to Townhomes

In a reversal of the return-to-office plans that continue to move ahead for many companies, one business property along I-88 will soon be welcoming workers home instead. M/I Homes recently began redevelopment on a 12-acre parcel at 1151 E. Warrenville Road, adjacent to Danada Forest Preserve. The site was occupied by a three-story, 67,000-square-foot vacant office building (demolished in June) that had mostly been used by the Illinois Health and Hospital Association, which has downsized to smaller quarters nearby. When completed, the Northwoods of Naperville will be a 64-unit townhome community featuring a mix of two- and three-story options. Pre-sales will begin this fall with prices expected to start in the $700,000s.
