This Naperville estate promises twice the luxe

Outside 8S061 Indiana Avenue

Call it a double delight, the Noah’s Ark of Naperville, or the house so nice they built it twice. Whatever you dub it, there’s certainly something uncanny going on at 8S061 Indiana Avenue, now on the market for $3.5 million.

Staircase

Completed in 2007, the home boasts a symmetrical façade that looks like two identical halves fused together, including matching two-car garages on either end (in fact, the two sides almost beg to be featured in one of those spot-the-differences puzzles). The twinning theme continues inside, where the more than 15,000 square feet of finished space includes a grand entrance double staircase and a massive kitchen with two each of many favorite things, such as Sub-Zero refrigerators, warming drawers, full-size ovens, and walk-in pantries.

Kitchen

Not every feature has a double, of course, but then most homeowners probably will be able to make do with just one in-ground pool (with accompanying 5,000-square-foot paver patio and outdoor kitchen), four-floor elevator, wine room, theater room, and gym (with sauna and steam shower). And, given the dispersion of the five bedrooms and 10 bathrooms (including the seeming oxymoron of two primary suites), listing agent Alexa Wagner of RE/Max Professionals Select believes it’s a great home for gatherings—while still giving everyone their own separate space.

Living room

“This is a perfect hub for the family who enjoys coming together for holidays,” she says. “This home provides enough space for all to enjoy.”
