Charleston Building and Development, which has designed and built a number of residential projects throughout Naperville, recently announced plans to construct Charleston Place on a 7.3-acre vacant plot along Aurora Avenue between Mesón Sabika and All Saints Catholic Academy. Geared toward seniors ages 55 and up, the project, which was approved by the city in April, calls for 30 cottage-style, single-family homes ranging in size from 2,400 to 3,600 square feet and featuring two to four bedrooms. The houses will feature custom design and landscaping options and will be part of a homeowners’ association that will cover ongoing exterior maintenance and snow removal.
