Steve Sobkowiak, co-owner of Oakley Home Builders, says the firm has built a handful of home theaters in the last few years, including one in the home of Caroline and Steve Hamilton. 

The Hamiltons’ setup includes a 10-seat theater perfect for hosting family and friends for movie nights. And since no movie experience is complete without snack time, their version features an accompanying concession stand stocked with favorites such as Junior Mints and Milk Duds.

Hickory cabinetry by Knapp Kitchens is painted in Farrow & Ball’s “Black Blue” shade. The area also includes a bright-red Smeg mini-fridge, a popcorn machine, and a lighted marquee sign for announcing the evening’s flick or special occasion.
