Plans move ahead for new affordable housing development on Naperville’s south side

Wisconsin-based developer Gorman & Company recently agreed to purchase a four-acre parcel at the corner of 103rd Street and Route 59 from the City of Naperville with plans to build a new multifamily affordable housing development on the site. With construction scheduled to begin this summer on a budget of roughly $30 million, Tower Court Residences is set to include 71 units of affordable housing—targeting a population of 75 percent seniors and 25 percent individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities—as well as a community room, outdoor grill and patio area, walking path, and dog park.
