Naperville home offers distinct spaces for multiple generations
When it comes to plenty of room for mom, dad, kids, grandma, and grandpa, this Naperville estate, built in 2015, has double the amenities. The 7,600-square-foot home at 27W675 Lane, now on the market for $3.19 million, is essentially two houses in one, with separate living areas and entrances under a single roof.
“The original homeowners were seeking multigenerational living and wanted a fully functional living space for their parents,” says listing agent Vickie Schoenfeld of Baird & Warner Naperville. “But they didn’t want just a room in the basement or an in-law suite, which is why they spared no expense on what is a beautiful, functional, and tastefully decorated second residence.”
To that end, the second residence features its own full-size kitchen, laundry room, first-floor bedroom ensuite, home office, family room, sunroom, and elevator. The five-bedroom main home, meanwhile, includes two primary suites with heated floors and private laundry rooms, a double-sided stone fireplace in the family room, a high-end kitchen, library, and music room. And when it’s time for both sides of the family to come together in the great outdoors, the generations can mingle on the expansive paver patio out back to enjoy the pond, fire pit, treehouse, and built-in grill.
