A 2,000-square-foot café off the hotel’s entrance, Sparrow Coffee Roastery, will feature baked goods from DeEtta’s Bakery. The race has now generated more than $93,000 for MSHV, which operates a transitional housing program with counseling, access to health care, and education and job-training services for US veterans of any era.

The Lawler family formed the Foundation in memory of their father, Phil Lawler, a Naperville Central High School baseball coach, physical education teacher and children’s fitness advocate, who died of cancer in 2010.
