The delivery, called an “en caul” birth, is an extremely rare occurrence that happens about once in every 80,000 births and that has never been documented in Naperville Fire Department history. Both the newborn and mother were ultimately stabilized. Shown are Dr. Daryl Wilson, Edward Hospital; Doug Skotnicki, Edward Hospital; Lt.
