Halloween will look different this year, and Naperville Park District is introducing a new event, Halloween Nights Lights, to celebrate the season in line with current health guidelines and with a twist of family-friendly fun and surprises. Halloween Nights Lights will take place Thursday and Friday evening at the parking lot and circle drive at Centennial Beach. Participants will enjoy a short drive-through tour of scenes and lights, as the entrance to Centennial Beach is transformed into a world filled with Halloween wonders. Advanced registration is required and due to limited availability, the event is open to Naperville residents only. Registration for this event opens at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7. When registering, participants will choose one of the available 30-minute time slots and will be limited to one vehicle per family. Themed car games and activities will distributed to each vehicle upon arrival to help pass the time during the wait to view the lights and scenes. Additionally, goody bags will be distributed to children ages 10 and under who are present in each vehicle. Walk-up visits to view the lights and scenery are not permitted. Free.
