After having a strong presence in 2012, cluster pendants left the public eye, replaced by a more minimal design aesthetic. But designers have reintroduced the lighting style for 2021 to add whimsy to modern spaces.

Wide dining room or foyer? Sonneman’s Nebula pendant works perfectly in horizontal spaces and comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. “The modern style of the fixture has been very popular,” says Galleria of Lighting’s manager, Lauren Morar. “It looks like a work of art on your ceiling, but functionality is also a factor,” she explains. “There are so many bulbs it gives great light.”

Narrow space? Try a Fin pendant from Original BTC. Its eye-catching bone china shades create dramatic light and shade when lit.
