Naperville police were assisted by Lisle responders when they came out after receiving a report of a bank robbery on the city’s far east side late Wednesday morning — but it turned out to be little more than an unplanned drill. Department spokesman Sgt. Lou Cammiso said law enforcement officers sealed off the perimeter to the Bank of America branch on Ogden Avenue at Naperville Wheaton Road before learning that the caller, who said he believed someone was inside the building with a rifle, was mistaken.
