Over 200 guests got an up-close look at the spring lines of many Naperville clothing retailers on the morning of Saturday, March 3. After a buffet brunch including a carving station and dozens of dishes, 35 models from 19 downtown stores interacted with seated attendees.

Katie Wood is the executive director of the Downtown Naperville Alliance, which organizes the biannual event. “The benefit of these fashion shows is that you can window shop from your seat while you eat with your good friends.”

The family-friendly event was held at Elements at Water Street, and for many guests it was a first-time experience at the new venue. “The team at Elements really rose to the occasion,” Wood says. “They loved doing an event that did so much good for the downtown community.”
