Principal architect at Studio Silver Inc., Vaishali Katyarmal brings in 10 years of experience providing comprehensive architecture and interior design services to a wide range of clients. Originally from India, Vaishali has successfully designed and built many projects across Asia and North America .
Her professional experience ranges from working with large firms to small design teams on a large variety of projects including commercial developments, corporate offices, healthcare facilities, retail, restaurants and multi and single family residences.
Upscale Residential Architecture is her personal favorite design niche. She believes that a home is a reflection of one’s style…of a dream materialized. She approaches her projects with commitment to quality and attention to details. Studio Silver Inc., Vaishali’s office uses design tools like 3D renderings and virtual walkthroughs which makes the design process simple for its clients to visualize their projects. Russell Martin
Carpet & Rugs
Making the decision to enjoy retirement in their family home, the Isadore’s set their sights on updating their historic residence. Engaging designer, Debra Lellbach of Lellbach Builders, the Isadore’s home transformation began.
Their goal for the project was to redesign the 25′ x 40′ family room’s 1980’s interior décor to accommodate family celebrations and entertaining. While maintaining the existing architectural elements in the space and their existing furniture, the scope of the project included redesigning the room’s furniture layout, adding focus to the fireplace, creating a new color scheme, adding new flooring finishes and materials and adding new window treatments.
Given the size of the room it was critical to create a floor plan that had separate seating areas that felt connected to each other. The original wood floor was refinished and became the anchor to the room’s warm color scheme. Adding a mix of cool and warm colors, gold & bronze hi-lights and a touch of bling to the existing green toned fabrics created an inviting environment.
Key to the success of this project was creating the perfect area rug for this grand room. Collaborating with Debra was her trusted resource at Russell Martin Carpet. Together they found a beautiful nylon carpet that united the room’s design elements. The final rug design has three custom area rugs inlayed within one huge rug. Russell Martin’s in-house craftsmen custom made this one of a kind rug with intricate borders, bevels, and binding. Because the rug’s finished size was a whopping 35′ x 18′ the rugs final assembly was done on site by Russell Martin’s installation team in one day.
