Che Figata’s Shared Table Dinners are held bimonthly on Thursdays at the restaurant’s wrap-around food bar, the Chef’s Counter. A prix fixe menu is offered at two seatings (5:30 and 8:00 p.m.) for singles, couples or groups. On August 9 enjoy a pizza-themed meal including Roman focaccia, porchetta calzone salad, Detroit-style pan pizza and Roman oval-stromboli with a fig, ricotta and cherry calzone dessert. The August 23 menu features mussels Pomodoro, baked clams, sausage and peppers, antipasto chop salad, pork neck gravy and pasta and chicken giardiniera pasta fagioli. Cinnamon fried dough and Italian lemon ice complete the Old School Chicago menu. Guests will have the option to include wine tastings with each course. Tickets are $50/person.
