Nearly 2,250 runners took part in the 11th annual Healthy Driven Naperville Half Marathon, 10K & 5K on October 22.
With its Casino for a Cause fundraiser, Naperville’s IntentGen Financial Partners raised $90,000 September 28 for 14 local community nonprofit organizations.
The Edward Foundation raised $704,000 at its 33rd annual gala on September 23 at the Matrix Club in Naperville. More than 450 people attended.
Naperville Crossings partnered with Elite Chess to host a community chess day October 7 featuring chess classes, open play and challenges for kids of all ages. The third annual interscholastic high school chess tournament took place the next day, with Neuqua Valley taking first place, followed by Waubonsie Valley and Metea Valley.
