Naper Settlement debuted an all-new farmers’ market June 25. Featuring specialty vendors as well as agricultural-based demonstrations, the market is open 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through September.

Sure Shot Pickleball in Naperville hosted 48 players in its inaugural Illinois High School Pickleball Championship June 27. The top three teams were Josiah Aguado and Carson Converse (Yorkville) in first, Isaac Sommerfeld and Eli Sommerfeld (Stevenson) in second, and Kasparas Venslausgus and Drew Watson (Crystal Lake) in third.

On June 18 the Cleve Carney Museum of Art and the McAninch Arts Center at the College of DuPage announced their next major summer art exhibition coming in 2025: Hokusai and Ukiyo-e: The Floating World, Artworks from the Chiossone Collection. The exhibition will feature about 50 original works by renowned artists from Japan’s Edo period, including the woodblock print The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Hokusai.
