More than 1,000 pounds of produce was collected during the annual October gleaning marking the end of the growing season at the Ron Ory Community Garden Plots in Naperville. A total of 2,692 pounds was donated in 2025 to Loaves & Fishes Community Services—500 more pounds than last year.
The DuPage Foundation awarded more than $110,000 in October to 10 local nonprofits from its Capacity Building grant program. Recipients included the DuPage Health Coalition, Green Halo Scholars, and the DuPage Symphony Orchestra (pictured).
