The DuPage Children’s Museum’s March 23 story time featured local author Elizabeth Nielsen, who read her book, ‘Udder Chaos: Amusing Adventures With Farm Animals.’
This year’s Naperville Sunrise Rotary’s St. Paddy’s Day 5K attracted 1,026 runners, walkers, and strollers. The 14th annual race raised funds for community organizations supporting local youths and families.

Batavia Park District’s future community center at 150 Houston Street will be named for park board president Patrick J. Callahan (second from left, pictured with his family March 21, after the name was approved). Plans for the multigenerational facility include a community room, childcare room, gathering space for active older adults, new home for Batavia Access Television, and storage for Batavia Depot Museum collections.
