The oldest business in DuPage County, Beidelman Furniture in downtown Naperville, closed its doors for good April 30. The family-owned store opened in 1861.

Author and advocate Anjanette L. Young shared her story at the SamaraCare Breakfast Benefit May 8 at Elements on Water Street in Naperville. The annual event raised funds for mental health care for women and children in need. Young, a licensed clinical social worker, was the victim of a 2019 wrong-address raid by the Chicago Police Department.
