At its annual Community Service Grants Award Luncheon on June 1, the Rotary Club of Naperville awarded $175,000 to 36 nonprofit organizations that provide community support and basic humanitarian needs.
More than 500 attended Hesed House’s annual Derby Party May 6 at White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville. The event raised almost $800,000 for the nonprofit, which provides shelter services for about 1,000 men, women, and children each year and helps hundreds more not experience homelessness thanks to rapid rehousing and other programs.
Through its Team Maddox initiative in support of Autism Awareness Month, BD’s Mongolian Grill raised more than $21,000 for the Organization for Autism Research.
