More than 2,000 runners participated in the 10th annual Healthy Driven Naperville Half Marathon & 5K on October 16.
Slime was just some of the fun to be had at Pumpkin Palooza October 29 at DuPage Children’s Museum in Naperville.
Gypsy jazz band lePercolateur performed for nearly 300 guests at DuPage Foundation’s French cabaret-themed annual benefit Bonjour DuPage November 5 at the Westin Chicago Lombard.
Wrapping up the gardening season, volunteers gleaned 677 pounds of leftover vegetables from the Ron Ory Community Garden Plots October 23; the fresh produce was donated to Loaves and Fishes Community Services. This summer, donations from the master gardeners’ Giving Garden and others totaled 1,400 pounds.
