In collaboration with the Naperville Art League, Naper Settlement (523 S. Webster St.) is hosting an exhibition through April 5 that features more than 35 works based on the themes of heroism, sacrifice, family, and strength to honor the 150th anniversary of the Naperville Fire Department.

Inspired by jazz musician John Coltrane, Norman Teague’s solo exhibition (top) is open through April 28 at the Elmhurst Art Museum (150 S. Cottage Hill Ave.). An adjoining group exhibition in Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s 1952 McCormick House, A Love Supreme: McCormick House Reimagined, includes furniture, blown glass, and fiber art pieces that “transform the house from the picture of upper-class, white suburban living to an alternative interior reimagined by BIPOC architects, designers, and artists.”
